Cut those Moving Costs

There are ways to cut corners in every business. This also includes in the moving business.

If you are flexible on your move time, you’ll save money. That is, try to avoid the most expensive months to move (June, July, and August) because of the demand for full-service moving companies.

If possible, move during the middle of the month. This is because rates are higher at the beginning and the end due to the large amount of apartment leases with month-end dates.

Finally, if you are flexible with your move-in times, that can save you more money because the moving company can combine shipments with other movers.
