Mana Contemporary is the predominant fine arts storage and handling company in the United States. Our state-of-the-art technology combined with our highly qualified specialists has made us the fine arts storage facility of choice for museums, galleries, auction houses and private and commercial collectors across New York City. Mana Contemporary routinely handles professional art collections large and small across the New York Tri State area.

From our transportation vehicles to our secure storage facilities in New Jersey, every aspect of the Mana Contemporary art storage process is kept 100 % climate-controlled and pristinely clean.
For security, we employ 65 cameras, with 8 cameras dedicated to art storage, including all entrances and exits, all monitored 24/7 including all holidays. Our highly trained guards also make regular tours of the building, tagging hourly surveillance checkpoints.

MFA also utilizes our custom designed HVAC system that maintains 70 degrees F (+/- 2 degrees F) with relative humidity maintained at 55% (+/- 2% RH). The 10,000 square foot cellar employs two independent HVAC systems and has been insulated to handle environmental requirements, as well as low-heat, low-wattage fluorescent lighting on timers.

The Mana Contemporary facility meets the standards as set by the American Association of Museums and is fully AXA approved. To be sure that it was created to meet these rigorous standards, we chose Ani Riveria to design our storage space. Riveria also designed the Guggenheim's storage space.
